Ask your legislators to help us reach one million acres

In the face of North Carolina's rapid growth, the sixth fastest in the country, in 2000 state leaders set a goal of preserving one million acres of forests, farmlands, and other critical open spaces.  Now, we're closer than ever to making the million-acre promise come true.  Take a moment to send an e-mail to your legislator letting them know you support protecting Morrow Mountain, Serenity Point, and other natural areas for future generations.
