Spread the word to save the Blue Ridge

More than 400 other North Carolinians have already signed our petition to Gov. Perdue to Save the Blue Ridge, which is great news!

From the Smokies, to Grandfather Mountain, to the Parkway, North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains are famous.  That's why in 2008, conservation officials awarded grants to protect and expand state parks and other natural heritage areas in our mountains.

With the 75th anniversary of the Blue Ridge Parkway approaching, Environment North Carolina is calling on state officials to fulfill their commitments to protect the Blue Ridge Mountains and other natural areas across the state as soon as they can.

Can you spread the word to your friends and family to help us get to 750 signatures for protecting natural areas in the Blue Ridge and preserving other forests and farmlands across the state?
