It's down to the wire for clean cars
The General Assembly is entering its final week of the 2008 session and it is coming down to the wire for clean cars in North Carolina. The General Assembly is considering legislation that would make North Carolina's fleet of vehicles cleaner and more fuel efficient, along with a bill that would ensure North Carolina takes the first step towards the Clean Cars Program. Unfortunately, the automakers are fighting both of these bills. Take a minute to e-mail your legislator and ask her to support reducing global warming pollution and saving consumers money on gas.
