Spread the word about protecting the Horsepasture River

You have joined with hundreds of North Carolinians to ask state officials to designate the Horsepasture River an "Outstanding Resource Water."

Known for its spectacular waterfalls, the Horsepasture is one of the most beautiful rivers in the state, and is a popular hiking destination near the Nantahala National Forest.  But development pressures near the river are great, and the river lacks all the protections it deserves under clean water laws.  That is why we need your help to spread the word about protecting one of North Carolina's last unspoiled rivers.

Take a moment to ask your friends and family to help protect the Horsepasture River.
