Ms. Hartzell coordinates the field
work for all Environment North Carolina campaigns. In this role she is
responsible for building the Environment North Carolina network and mobilizing
its supporters in key state and federal legislative districts throughout the
state to win campaigns to protect North Carolina’s environment.
Prior to her position as the
organizations Field Associate, Ms. Hartzell was the Field Associate with the
Connecticut Public Interest Research Group working on campaigns to protect the
Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and stop a liquefied natural gas facility in
Long Island Sound.
Ms. Hartzell began her career
working with Environment Colorado building grassroots support to bring more
renewable energy to Colorado as well as working with the Western Clean Energy
Campaign in Boulder, CO.
